Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka has decided to boycott the swearing-in ceremony. Terming the Congress-JD(S) alliance as an "unholy alliance", BJP will be staging state-wide protests tomorrow. BS Yeddyurappa is expected to protest at the Gandhi statue at 11:15 am tomorrow.

Speaking to the media in Bengaluru, Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Roa revealed that he won't be able to attend Kumaraswamy's swearing-in and thus has arrived in Bengaluru to meet the JD(S) leader. "Tomorrow I have a Collector's conference in Hyderabad. So I thought I should meet Mr Kumaraswamy & extend my good wishes. Sometime later I will come but tomorrow I will not be there. Good luck to Mr Kumaraswamy, good luck to Karnataka," KCR said.

The Congress-JD(S) alliance in Karnataka was invited to form the government by Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala after BJP's BS Yeddyurappa resigned as the chief minister before he was stated to prove majority in the House.

Speaking to media, today, Kumaraswamy said that the chief minister and deputy chief minnister will be taking oath tomorrow while the protfolios for other ministers will be decided after that. Congress' G Parameshwara Rao will be sworn in as the Deputy CM tomorrow.
