Father rapes daughter for 5 months in Gurgaon, tells her its normal

Aman was arrested on Friday evening in Manesar, Gurgaon, for allegedly raping his 12-year-old daughter repeatedly for 5 months.

The man was arrested after his second wife, girl's stepmother, caught him red-handed in the act and alerted the police.

The accused, who works as a labourer in a factory in Pataudi, had allegedly manipulated his 12-year-old daughter into believing that it was normal and every father does the same to his daughter.

The girl, who is the eldest of the two children from the accused's first wife, lived with her father, stepmother, younger brother and two step-siblings in Pataudi.

On May 16, the stepmother returned home a little early and caught her husband sexually abusing the minor girl. The woman defended the daughter and immediately informed the cops about the incident.

After receiving the complaint, the girl was taken to a hospital where a medical examination was done which confirmed rape. The police arrested the accused and an FIR has been registered against him under section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC.

The victim has alleged that the father sexually assaulted her for 5 months and threatened her to not tell anyone.
